Note on M. Guard PX usage & description

M.GUARD PX is a broad spectrum biocide which has been used to provide complete microbiological protection against bacteria and fungi to a wide range of cosmetic, household and industrial applications, and as an active agent in disinfectants/antiseptics, antimicrobial soaps and medical applications. It was developed in Europe in the 1920’s and has been used in the United States since the 1950’s.

M.GUARD PX is generally used in the range of 3% to 5% as an active active ageagent and 0.3% to 0.5% as a preservative, and may be formulated into a wide range of formulations in hospital/medical, domestic, cosmetic and industrial areas.

M.GUARD PX can be used as an antimicrobial agent generally in the range of 3 - 5% in hospital antiseptics, disinfectants and sanitisers, surgical hand scrub, medicated soaps/powders/creams/lotions, anti-dandruff shampoos, athletes foot treatment, hard surface wipes, antiseptic skin wipes, topical urinary antiseptics, electrocardiogram paste.

M.GUARD PX can be used as an active in general household disinfectants, anti-bacterial handsoaps, antiseptic liquids/lotions/creams, and deodorant soaps.

M.GUARD PX can be used as a preservative in protein solutions, hair conditioners, silicone emulsions, childrens cosmetics, skin cleansers.
